These terror alert levels are completely useless.  What good is being told that somewhere, somehow, sometime in the next few months, something might happen?  Yeah.  Thanks for the information.

SBC Strike

The union representing SBC workers is threatening a four day strike in a few days.  Will anyone even notice?  I’m serious.  Their service is so bad that a strike could only improve things.  Their customer service is impossible to deal with.
We cancelled our DSL service with them three months ago but they keep billing us.  [...]
