Ass-Hat of the Week – Tamsin Smith
This weeks Ass-Hat of the Week Award goes to BBC reporter Tamsin Smith because of this story she wrote.
For your information, Tamsin, a group of people who collect monetary donations for the purpose of buying weapons can not be called anti-war. Not ever.
Here’s the key to the the written stupidity:
They say they have collected 12,000 euros ($14,165) in the past eight weeks and admit the money used could be used to buy weapons.
The Antiimperialistas are a group of European anti-war and anti-globalisation supporters.
Does anyone else see the contradiction?

I don’t think I like this Miss Smith. I don’t think she should write again. She didn’t say this group *claims to be* an “anti-war” group, she does see them as one. Well, I don’t.
Look at this BS:
The Italian spokesman of the *antiimperialistas*, Moreno Pasquinelli, says “Its not our affair how they use this money. If they want to use it to print papers for example, or to *buy weapons in order to fight* for the Iraqi independence.”
Talk about double standards….

She is right though. They are a group who demonstrate against the war the fact that they do this through such means as violent protest and in fact funding terrorist groups. Doesn’t change there anti war goals.

You can’t protest war by funding war. Period.
