The San Francisco handgun ban squeeked by with a narrow 58% of the vote.  I’m actually surprised it did not pass by a wider margin since such a large portion of The City population is composed of hard-core, ultra-left, tree-hugging hippies who rarely possess even a simulation of a clue.

Supervisor Chris Daly, who proposed the measure, said the victory showed that “San Francisco voters support sensible gun control.”

No, it shows a slight majority of San Francisco voters are fucking morons.

For giving up a Constitutional Right, and for thinking they can take away a Consitutional right from other citizens, 58% of the voting population of San Francisco is hereby granted the coveted title of Ass-Hat of the Week.
