I’ve lost my best friend.  My partner.  My companion.  I don’t know when she reached the point of no return.  I think we might have been able to save our marriage six months ago, but there was one overriding problem that kept us from making progress.  Something we, at the time, could do nothing about.  What’s so frustrating is that problem is being solved now.  If only it had come just a little earlier.
