Usually any mention of the DMV (at least here in California) is followed by a long string of expletives that I won’t repeat here.  I’ve had more than my share of problems with that government agency.  Now I’d like to congratulate the DMV on a job well done.

You can now register your vehicle online.  The process is simple and painless, though does require a credit card.  Less than a week later our new registration tag arrived!  Wow.

Kudos to the California Department of Motor Vehicles.
