Programmers Are Low Skilled?

The Communist Worker’s Daily New York Times has an article about outsourcing programming overseas.  One particular line from the article stands out, “Low-skill jobs like coding are moving offshore and what’s left in their place are more advanced project management jobs.”

Programming is a low-skilled job?  In what universe?  All too often, the project manager doesn’t have a clue about programming and is only around to ask, “Is it done, yet?  Is it done, yet?” Much like an annoying 5 year old in the back seat of the car on a long trip.

I highly recommend the New York Times replace their reporters and editors with monkeys in business suits. The quality and accuracy of the paper should improve dramatically.
